About the role

Tang's Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to join our team in the East Region. As an M&E Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring the mechanical and electrical systems are designed, installed and maintained to the highest standards. This is a full-time position that will allow you to utilize your technical expertise and project management skills to drive the success of our construction initiatives.

What you'll be doing

1. Designing, installing and commissioning mechanical and electrical systems for construction projects

2. Overseeing the work of subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements

3. Conducting site inspections, progress of work and identifying and resolving any technical issues that arise

4. Collaborating with the project management team to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects

5. Preparing detailed technical documentation, including drawings, specifications and reports

6. Providing technical support and advice to the wider construction team

7. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant building regulations and industry standards and the work is on schedule.

What we're looking for

1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline

2. Minimum 5 years' experience as an M&E Engineer in the construction industry

3. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations

4. Proficient in the use of CAD software and MS Projects skill and other technical design tools

5. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors and the wider project team

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

8. Familiarity with relevant building regulations and industry standards
