Job Description

Good bilingual (English and Mandarin) communication and coordination skills are essential.

We are seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to join our team for large-scale cleanroom facility construction projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will lead the HVAC system design review, site installation supervision, testing & commissioning, and provide technical guidance for the construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the installation of HVAC systems, including chilled water piping, air handling units, and ductwork for cleanroom facilities.
• Conduct technical design reviews, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Supervise on-site installation, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Lead the testing and commissioning of HVAC systems and troubleshoot technical issues during installation and operation.
• Train and guide junior engineers and site supervisors in HVAC system operations and maintenance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning for industrial or cleanroom projects.
• Familiar with international HVAC standards (ASHRAE) and Singapore local codes.
• Proven experience in managing site works and leading technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other HVAC design software is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with China-based and Singapore-based stakeholders.
