Job summary

A leading executive search firm seeks an experienced LPG Broker to drive business development and manage client relationships in Singapore. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in trade execution within the LPG market and a strong grasp of energy market dynamics. Responsibilities include providing execution services, delivering market analyses, and identifying new business opportunities. An excellent communicator with a commercial focus is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an LPG Broker in an IDB/FCM execution environment.
• Excellent knowledge of energy markets within LPG.
• Proven track record managing multiple client types in trade execution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop existing client relationships and actively drive business development through networking and outreach to push desk revenues across the existing LPG business
• Provide timely and accurate execution services to oil majors, trading houses, funds and institutional clients across LPG.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of the products and markets in which you work and provide accurate market analysis, reports, pricing spreads, research and industry news across the LPG and wider Oil and Energy markets to the desk and counterparties. Ability to cross reference analysis from research houses and platforms such as Reuters, Bloomberg etc
• Understand the desk’s and group business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients
• Work with internal on-boarding/compliance teams for opening new lines, adhering to compliance requirements at all times
• Establish and act upon cross-sell opportunity, utilising the firms extremely broad asset class coverage in energy and commodities/fx

Experience

• 3+ years experience as an LPG Broker (Paper or physical) in an IDB/FCM execution environment
• Excellent knowledge of the energy markets within your LPG niche (Paper or Physical)
• Proven track record of managing multiple client types in trade execution within the LPG market
• Transferable contacts/counterparties across trading houses, majors, funds, institutional clients, market makers etc.
• Strong commercial focus with excellent communication skills
