Job description

Position Overview

Join our team at Trendy Egg Company as an Egg Lorry Driver, delivering fresh eggs to customers across Singapore. New drivers will be tagged to experienced drivers before taking on independent delivery responsibilities.

Available Positions

1) Class 3 Lorry Egg Driver

• Base Salary: $2,000/month (before commissions, upon confirmation of independent route)
• Potential Earnings: Up to $5,000/month with commissions
• Working Days: 5.5 days per week

Key responsibilities

• Open digital invoice upon delivery
• Liaise with customers to build a regular relationship
• Manage loading & unloading of daily goods required for delivery the next day
• Delivering goods to customers, avoid minimum breakage
• Ensure vehicle tagged to you is maintained and serviced regularly
• Handling of cash to ensure that it tally with the daily deliveries delivered

2) Class 3/4 Lorry Driver

• Base Salary: $2,100/month (before commissions)
• Potential Earnings: Up to $5,000/month with commissions
• Working Days: 5.5 days per week

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate company lorry to deliver egg products to retail stores, markets, and food establishments
• Load and secure egg crates, rice & groceries properly to prevent damage during transport
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer time windows
• Unload products at customer locations with care
• Generate delivery invoices on mobile device at point of delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicle
• Communicate professionally with customers and address delivery concerns
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery problems to supervisor promptly

3) Lorry Assistant

• Salary Range: $1,600 - $1,800/month (before commissions)
• Working Days: 5.5 days per week
• Requirements: No driver's license required

Key Responsibilities

• Accompany driver on daily delivery routes
• Assist with loading eggs, rice & groceries onto lorry at warehouse
• Carefully unload products at each customer location
• Create delivery invoices using company mobile device/app at each stop
• Help ensure accurate order fulfillment and product quality checks
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Support driver with navigation and route optimization

Training Period (First Month or more depending on learning speed)

All new drivers will undergo 1-month training (or more based on individual learning speed) by shadowing an experienced driver on their delivery route.

Commission Structure

Drivers and assistants can significantly increase earnings through commission on:

• Sales volume delivered
• New customer acquisitions

With strong performance, total monthly compensation can reach $5,000.

Requirements

Class 3 Drivers

• Valid Class 3 driving license
• Clean driving record preferred
• Physically fit to handle egg crates (repetitive lifting)
• Able to work early morning hours (typical start: 5-6 AM)
• Basic smartphone proficiency for invoice app

Class 4 Drivers

• Valid Class 4 driving license
• All Class 3 requirements apply
• Experience with larger vehicles preferred

Lorry Assistant

• No driving license required
• Physically fit for manual handling of goods
• Reliable and punctual
• Willing to learn and take initiative
• Basic smartphone proficiency for invoice app
