Job summary

A leading employment firm in Singapore is seeking a customer support professional to handle new customer creation and order management. The ideal candidate will have a degree and 4-5 years of experience, preferably in the Manufacturing or Semicon industry. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems like SAP is essential. The position requires good communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. There may be a need for 24/7 standby and working after hours.

Qualifications

  • Min 4-5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Prior experience in the Manufacturing/Semicon industry is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge about transport/shipping and INCO-terms.
  • Knowledge and certification to issue 'Dangerous Goods' documents are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provides customer facing support for new customer creation, product/service contract and order management.
  • Manages overall customer performance to forecast and forecast consumption.
  • Proactively manages customer orders and shipments, resolving any issues before shipment.
  • Monitors and supports sales efforts.

Job Description
  • Provides customer facing support for new customer creation, product/service contract and order management, forecast entry to shipments/returns support
  • Manages overall customer performance to forecast, including overall regional forecast accuracy analysis, and forecast consumption
  • Order Management and proactively manages & monitors customer orders and shipments, resolving any issues on the account before shipment
  • Responsible for managing customer expectations in respect to supply/demand and other related issues and escalating when necessary. Including interfacing with relevant internal teams such as Forecast, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, Logistics and Export Compliance through resolution
  • Regular interface with Product Lifecycle team to drive customer acceptance strategies on new devices
  • Monitors and supports sales efforts
The Requirements
  • Min Degree Holder with min 4-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Prior experience in the Manufacturing/ Semicon industry is an added advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Experienced working with ERP system, preferably SAP
  • Ability to handle multiple ERP system
  • Good knowledge about freight forwarding industry and incoterms
  • Candidates with knowledge and certificate to issue "Dangerous Goods" documents will have an added advantage
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team with good teamwork and eye for details.
  • Be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Basic IT skills
  • Knowledge of Lotus Notes tools
  • Familiar with work-related routines under Satair’s ERP system
  • Good knowledge about PC Doc and various freight forwarder systems
  • Good knowledge about transport/shipping. Hereunder INCO-terms
  • If required, knowledge of and certified to issue “Dangerous Goods” docs and freight handling of same
  • Requiure to standby 24/7 after working hours for unforeseen circumstance
  • May Require to work over weekend/PH/after office hours.
