Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Logistics Operation Supervisor to ensure efficient operations in freight forwarding. Responsibilities include customer communication, shipment monitoring, and handling documentation. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in logistics and be able to work independently as well as within a team. The role offers a basic salary of up to $3,000 plus performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sea or air freight forwarding.
• Experience in managing import/export permits and other general logistics operation.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with new and existing customers to provide good service and ensure their satisfaction.
• Monitor daily shipment progress and give timely, accurate updates from booking to delivery.
• Keep accurate records of all shipments, including shipping documents and forms, following international trade rules.
• Work closely with carriers, agents, and other partners to ensure smooth delivery to customers.
• Handle booking, documentation, billing, costing, and reporting tasks on time and accurately as required.
• Take on other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or Head Office.

• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $3,000 + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role
