  • Prepares shipping and customs documentation.
  • Liaises with customs authorities for timely clearance.
  • Submits permit applications through systems.
  • Coordinates with agencies for licenses or approvals.
  • Ensures shipments meet trade compliance requirements.
  • Works with internal departments for logistics support.
  • Communicates with clients and brokers for updates.
  • Maintains records and supports audits.
  • Stays updated with customs laws and regulations.

Job Description
  • Responsible for handling import and export customs clearance in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Classifies goods accurately using HS codes and calculates applicable duties and taxes.
  • Prepares and verifies all required shipping and customs documentation.
  • Liaises with customs authorities to ensure timely clearance of goods.
  • Submits permit applications for imports and exports through systems.
  • Coordinates with government agencies to obtain necessary licenses or approvals.
  • Ensures all shipments meet local and international trade compliance requirements.
  • Works closely with internal departments to support logistics operations.
  • Communicates with clients, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to provide shipment updates and resolve issues.
  • Maintains accurate records and supports audits or inspections by customs or trade authorities.
  • Keeps up-to-date with customs laws, free trade agreements, and regulatory changes.
