Job Summary:

The Logistics Assistant supports daily distribution fleet operations including the collection and delivery of laundry garments and consumable items to customer sites. The role also provides warehouse operational support when required. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely deliveries, accurate handling of items, and compliance with PACS and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Distribution & Fleet Operations

• Support daily collection of soiled laundry items and delivery of clean laundry, garments and consumables to customer locations in accordance with the Collection & Delivery (C&D) schedule.
• Load and unload laundry bags, cartons and consumable items safely and efficiently.
• Verify that delivery orders, quantities and items are accurate prior to collection and delivery.
• Arrange and place clean laundry, garments and consumables at customer sites based on site-specific instructions.
• Adhere strictly to assigned routes, delivery timelines and operational instructions.
• Assist drivers during deliveries and collections including on-site coordination and handling activities.
• Perform vehicle maintenance as required under PACS guidelines.
• Comply with PACS safety procedures, customer EHS requirements and site rules at all times.

Warehouse Support

• Assist with warehouse operations including housekeeping, of inward and outward handling.
• Provide support during warehouse audits, stock counts, and periods of operational contingency.

General Duties

• Perform any other logistics-related tasks assigned by the Logistics Department or Management from time to time.

Qualification

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Able to work in a logistics and warehouse environment.
• Good teamwork, reliability, and willingness to support operational needs.
• Class 3 driving license is an added advantage but not mandatory.
• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Prior experience in logistics, delivery, or warehouse operations will be an advantage.
