Job description

We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you'll be a key member of our team, working closely with sales and logistics to ensure the smooth flow of goods. Your proactive support will help us meet our departmental goals and provide excellent service to our customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the entire process from order processing to final delivery. This includes scheduling both inbound & outbound shipments and communicating with customers, suppliers, and forwarders.
  • Prepare and check all shipping and trade documents (B/L, Form D, For E, invoices, packing lists, DO etc.) from supplier and forwarder to customers, ensuring accuracy, timely and compliance.
  • Liaise with customer & forwarder to ensure timely delivery/collection of goods from warehouse.
  • Manage inventory levels and product availability for delivery/shipment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock audits (quarterly or yearly)
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities, inventory movements and order status update
  • Prepare regular reports on delivery schedules, inventory report and shipment progress for internal teams and management
  • Ensure that all shipping documentation is properly filled, accessible and compliant with company policies.
  • Assist with payment due date reminder to customer and ensure timely payment from customer
  • Ensure timely payment arrangement to 3rdparty such as suppliers, forwarders, etc
Other Requirements
  • A proactive problem-solver with strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward continuous learning.
  • Meticulous in handling trade documentation and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent time management and self-discipline are crucial for managing multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required for data management and reporting.
