The Logistics and Planning Manager (L+P Manager) is responsible for project logistics and material planning for all our projects. This will include overseeing the material planning and coordination process for all solar EPC projects in Singapore and the wider APAC region.
The role involves forecasting material requirements, managing inventory, tracking deliveries, and ensuring material readiness according to project schedules. This position bridges engineering, procurement, logistics, and construction functions to maintain smooth project execution. In addition, the L+P manager shall be responsible for managing the relationship with our warehouse operator and commodity suppliers.

Responsibilities
- Project-level management: Oversee component purchase orders to suppliers, oversee material withdrawal for projects, coordinate material delivery schedule with Project Management team, coordinate with Accounts Payable to process invoices for all commodities, track and ensure materials are delivered in a timely manner.
- Planning of demand/supply matching and buffer strategy: Perform demand and supply matching on a regular basis to ensure commodities and materials needed for pipeline projects are covered; work with the engineering team to source new and improved materials and components from a wide variety of suppliers on a regular basis; support the engineering and project teams in sourcing innovative solutions to onsite material and component issues; plan material and commodity purchases to ensure economies of scale are maximised; ensure POs are timely placed to cover supply gaps while optimising cashflow; develop and implement commodity buffer strategy; consistently maintain optimum level of buffer to cover un-forecasted demand; maintain database of current information for all commodities and materials including but not limited to modules, inverters, structures and cables.
- Logistics: Oversee management of internal stores and external warehouses to ensure optimal stock while minimising excess and obsolescence; oversee material receipt, inspection, and reconciliation processes; manage any material discrepancies with suppliers; establish and monitor key inventory KPIs (inventory turns, aging, accuracy, etc.); continually work on warehouse operation improvement to enhance speed and accuracy of materials withdrawal; work with warehouse operation team to maintain accurate book-to-physical integrity through regular cycle count and accurate receiving and withdrawal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain coordination, preferably within EPC, construction, or renewable energy sectors.
- Strong understanding of solar PV components, balance-of-system (BOS) materials, and electrical/mechanical equipment is preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) would be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Able to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of import/export, logistics, and supplier lead times in the ASEAN region is advantageous.
