Core Duties (Business Data, Inventory Management & Accounts)
- Generate sales and inventory reports, customise data / information to be contextually relevant for business needs, and provide analysis and insights to support management decisions.
- Oversee stock management system & processes: receiving, allocation, reconciliation, loss prevention -- ensuring accuracy between physical and system records.
- Manage the Enterprise Inventory and POS Systems, ensure accuracy of item creation codes for goods received, retail price, and stock quantity allocation. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient stock / order fulfillment
- Prepare product lists for sales & marketing campaigns, communicate updates on new stock arrivals for retail stores and events, provide responsive support to stores - resolving barcode errors, transfer discrepancies etc.
- Issue & ensure accuracy of relevant documents including D/Os, invoicing, stock requisition & transfer notes, conducting stock-takes, reconciliations etc. for goods sold internally or consigned to other retailers.
- Ensure timely preparation & submission of Royalty / compliance reports for major licensors (e.g. Walt Disney). Prepare and process documentation for accounts receivables and corporate accounts, including for wholesale, retail and consignment activities.
Requirements
- At least a relevant diploma in a quantitative field like Accountancy / Finance or a similar professional qualification (ACCA, LCCI etc.). Note: Higher Nitec in Accounting qualifications may be considered if applicant has sufficient relevant experience (4 - 5 years).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar office-based inventory or accounting function
- Proactive as a problem solver, able to work independently, with keen attention to detail. Ability to work cohesively in a team is a must-have.
- Able to communicate key information clearly to stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel & savvy with IT / digital tools.
