Responsibilities

• Assessment of the in-house elderly and ad hoc assessment as required.
• Rehab intervention to the older adults.
• Supervise the therapy aide staff as required.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
• Assist implementations of Robotics and technology-related interventions.
• Initiate and implement new programs for nursing home residents.
• Assist in collecting resident data for programs.
• Collect feedback for newly introduced programs using relevant tools.
• Train junior staff in new interventions and feedback collection.
• Formulate new programmes on a quarterly basis.
• Review present programs and implement necessary changes every 6 months.
• Assist in short-term coverage at the Home Senior care centre if required.

We are actively hiring for a client in a Nursing Home setting in Singapore and we wish to invite interested therapist to apply the role.

Locum Physiotherapist - 12 months contract ( Negotiable )

• Assessment of the in‑house elderly, 6 monthly re‑assessment and ad hoc assessment as required.
• Rehab intervention to the older adults.
• Supervise the therapy aide staff as and when required.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals in Home and external as and when required regarding the patient care.
• Assist implementations of Robotics and any other technology‑related interventions.
• Initiate and implement new programs for the nursing home residents.
• Assist in collecting resident data for the programs.
• Assist in collecting feedback for the newly introduced programs using relevant tools.
• Assist to training the junior staff in the appropriate application of the new interventions and train them as required to collect the relevant feedback and data.
• Formulate new programmes on a quarterly basis for the wellbeing of the resident both physically and mentally.
• Review the present programs and implement necessary changes to the present ongoing physical therapy every 6 months.
• Assist in short‑term coverage at the Home Senior care centre if required.

Project Schedule

• Hours of coverage: 24 to 32 hours per week (Minimum coverage requirement – 12 hours coverage per week preferably 3 morning)
• Projected Commencement: from January 2026
