Novatek Gas and Power Asia Pte. Ltd. opens a position of LNG Operations Support in Singapore. The position is to be a trusted partner to the LNG commercial team on operations-related questions and ensure smooth run of operations with minimized costs.

Background

JSC Novatek is the largest privately owned gas company in Russia. Today, it is the major shareholder of Yamal LNG project.

Novatek Gas and Power Asia Pte. Ltd. is the LNG trading company for JSC Novatek’s and has been operational in Singapore since 2014.

Main Responsibilities

Person shall assist the LNG Operations team with tasks including but not limited to the following:

  • Preparation and verification of sale price calculations with in-house system and counterparty.
  • Maintaining and updating of in-house system with cargo delivery information.
  • Generation of cargo, receivable and recharged invoices.
  • Check and arrange for payment of cargo and cost invoices.
  • Follow-up with counterparty for supporting documents as per contracts.
  • Calculation of ship’s used laytime and demurrage (if applicable), respond to clarifications from counterpart and issuance of demurrage invoices.
  • Maintaining cargo quality database and inventory records.
  • Documents and records management.
  • Updating and maintaining in‑house system for accurate weekly reporting to HQ.
  • Provide timely assistance to LNG Operations team with any ad‑hoc work as and when required.
Requirements
  • Diploma or university degree, high numerical literacy and fluency in English.
  • Preferably some experience (2 years +) in commodity industry in similar Operations set‑up.
  • Good communication skills, self‑starter and ability to manage expectations with respect shown to internal team members, counterparts and support functions.
  • Willingness to work European hours in a fast‑moving environment.
