Job description

Responsibilities

• Contract and Transaction Support: Assist the LNG Trading Manager and Operations Manager in LNG trading activities, including the drafting, review and revision of LNG purchase and sales contracts (such as SPA, MA and CN) from the perspectives of business structure and risk control, ensuring that contractual terms align with business requirements and mitigate potential risks.
• Contract Execution and Compliance Management: Review LNG trading–related operational documents (e.g. loading reports, discharge reports, settlement documents and other relevant materials) to ensure proper contract execution and compliance with contractual terms and internal policies.
• Risk Control and Operational Support: Support the Operations Manager in identifying and managing risks arising from LNG trading operations, including contractual, operational and shipping-related risks.
• Business Recording and Analysis: Record, organize and analyze LNG trading transactions of the Company, and prepare relevant business and compliance reports as required by the Company or its parent company.
• Market and Trading Support: Assist in analyzing LNG trading opportunities and market information, with particular focus on contract structures and commercial terms, to support the LNG Trading Manager and LNG traders.
• Other Duties: Perform other LNG trading–related and contract support tasks as assigned by the LNG Trading Manager or Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Possess minimum Master Degree of Law or equivalent.
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience in LNG trading and profound understanding of China gas market.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Positive working attitude and ability to work independently.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
