About the Role

Occidental Rock Capital Pte Ltd is a licensed fund management company in Singapore. We are seeking a full-time Legal / Marketing Director to lead our regulatory, governance, legal oversight, and marketing functions. This is an in‑house position focusing on compliance, corporate governance, and marketing leadership within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Compliance (In‑House)

• Oversee in-house legal and regulatory matters related to fund management and corporate operations, including cross‑border matters involving China.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including fund documentation, investment management contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulations (SFA, FAA, Notices, Guidelines).
• Support internal governance controls and compliance frameworks.
• This is an in‑house legal role and does not require admission to the Singapore Bar.

Marketing & Communications

• Lead the development of compliant marketing materials, investor communications, and corporate presentations.
• Drive digital marketing initiatives and corporate branding.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with MAS advertising and disclosure standards.

Corporate Governance & Advisory

• Provide regulatory and contractual guidance to senior management.
• Support board documentation such as resolutions, minutes, and policy updates.
• Assist in reviewing new products, partnerships, and corporate initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in legal, regulatory, or compliance roles within financial services, with exposure to China‑related matters.
• Strong understanding of MAS regulations and Singapore’s financial industry framework.
• Experience in marketing oversight or investor communications is an advantage.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
