We are seeking a Legal Counsel to serve as the primary legal advisor for research-related matters, focusing extensively on industry-sponsored clinical trials. This role is integral to national initiatives led by the Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI) to streamline contracting processes and reduce turnaround times for industry-sponsored trials.

Your work involves reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements and industry-sponsored trial agreements within strict timelines, ensuring compliance whilst facilitating rapid research advancement. You'll collaborate closely with research offices across the SingHealth cluster, incorporating their valuable insights and feedback into contract negotiations to create agreements that serve both research excellence and patient safety. As SingHealth's representative at Centralised Contracting Office meetings, you'll provide regular updates to the SCRI on contract statuses and engage in strategic discussions about contracting challenges and solutions. Additionally, you'll provide comprehensive legal support for the broader spectrum of research-related work, contributing to SingHealth's position as a leader in clinical research and medical innovation.

Job Requirements:
