Job summary

A legal advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support and advice across various commercial issues. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts, coordinating with external counsels, and managing legal matters for subsidiaries. The ideal candidate should hold a law degree with 4 to 7 years' experience, especially in construction law. This position offers a competitive salary and requires willingness to travel for work.

  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements.

Legal Counsel

Location: 25 Tanjong Kling Rd, Singapore628050

Working Days: Monday- Friday (5 days)

Working hours: 8am to 5:30pm

Salary: ($5,500 - $7,000) Open to Negotiation

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other documents; and render legal advice
  • Provide legal advice and support to the group of companies on a broad range of commercial issues
  • Handle the setting up of subsidiaries, associates, branches and project offices as well as the closing or liquidation of such set up
  • Coordinate with external legal counsels and consultants as well as oversee the progress of their work
  • Coordinate with and advise business units and departments on legal matters
  • Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Prerequisites
  • Degree in Law
  • 4 to 7 years’ post-qualification experience, with knowledge of construction law and/or with experience in the construction industry
  • Willing to travel when required
