A prominent educational institution in Singapore is looking for an academic to support student mentorship and teaching in Tourism and Hospitality. The role includes conducting impactful research and engaging with industry. Candidates should have a PhD and a strong publication record. Fulltime remuneration ranges from SGD 88,000 to SGD 213,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
The level of the position offered will be determined by the interview panel. The appointee will be an academic / faculty member and will join a young, dynamic and growing team of academics. The appointee is expected to play an important role in supporting undergraduate student mentorship and fieldwork at the Singapore campus which includes research, research supervision, teaching, and industry engagement. Applications are invited from candidates with relevant research and teaching experiences and good industry engagement, with a focus on Tourism and Hospitality.

Fulltime tenure subject to Ministry-of-Manpower-Singapore jurisdiction and probationary period.
The positions command an appropriate remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience. All employment salary arrangements are offered in SGD. Candidates must consider the lower tax structure in Singapore and the organisational practice of Annual-Wage-Supplement equal to a month’s salary at the end of the calendar year (as eligible) subject to JCU board’s decision.
Lecturer: SGD 88 000 per annum - 136 000 per annum
Senior Lecturer: SGD 120 000 per annum – SGD 167 000 per annum
Associate Professor: SGD 131 000 per annum – SGD 213 000 per annum
