The programme adopts a curriculum that supplements core curriculum and general education programme and aims to nurture creative and reflective global citizens who have an acute understanding of social, cultural, economic, and environmental issues that matter in the world today.
The appointed faculty member will primarily contribute to the NTU-University Scholars Programme (NTU-USP), which attracts high-achieving students. The Programme is an interdisciplinary initiative designed to complement and connect with NTU's core disciplines. It aims to cultivate a cadre of creative and reflective global citizens who embody a passion for continuous learning.
The ideal candidate should have a background in any field under the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences umbrella, such as Philosophy, History, Literature, Linguistics, Economics, Psychology, Public Policy and Global Affairs, Communication Studies, and Sociology. A track record in teaching writing-intensive and ethics courses as well as leading students for overseas fieldwork would be welcome.
