Leasing Executive (Retail property)

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure suitable tenants to achieve optimal occupancy and rental income.
• Source, negotiate, and close lease agreements in line with the company’s objectives and market conditions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential tenants, retailers, and agents.
• Conduct market research to track retail trends, rental rates, and competitor activities.
• Prepare leasing proposals, presentations, and tenancy agreements in collaboration with the legal team.
• Monitor lease renewals, expiries, and tenancy handovers to ensure smooth transitions.
• Assist in planning and implementing strategies to improve tenant mix and enhance shopper experience.

Leasing Manager (Retail Properties)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute leasing strategies to optimize occupancy, tenant mix, and rental yield
• Source, negotiate, and secure retail tenants, including lease renewals and re-letting
• Manage lease negotiations, LOOs, and tenancy agreements
• Maintain strong relationships with tenants, agents, and stakeholders
• Monitor rental performance, vacancies, and market trends
• Coordinate tenant fit-out, handover, and store openings
• Prepare leasing reports and recommendations for management
• Ensure compliance with leasing policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in leasing of retail properties
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with a keen eye for market opportunities.
• Independent, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of retail trends and mall operations will be an advantage.
