GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview
  • Develop CNC programming, setting up various machine brands for aerospace machining.
  • Accomplishing work requirements by following established procedures and instructions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to develop work plan, deliverables, required resources, monitor project activities, budget, and timing for new initiatives to improve Safety Quality Delivery and Cost in the order
  • Lead, prepare and implement the First Article part process for NPI (New Product Introduction), including documentation package.
  • Provide guidance and support to operators in milling, turning, grinding, and EDM machining processes.
  • Lead and support troubleshooting, investigation and implement improvement initiatives of production process equipment for cycle time reduction, yield improvements and elimination of safety issues
  • Knowing and ability to design machine fixtures for machining has added advantages.
  • Monitor and stay updated with current and evolving trends in the CNC machining process manufacturing industry.
  • Generate and outline project schedule to keep all stakeholders up-to-date promptly.
  • Work with external vendors and system integrators to identify right spec size CNC equipment for shop needs.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a shop-floor leader with strong organizational experience in CNC operations, in-depth programming knowledge, and process development expertise. And capable of managing cross-functional projects and staying updated with the latest machining technologies in the market, including automation and digitization. This role requires delivering consistent performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost in the order across the shop operations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and with at least 7 years' hands‑on experience in CNC machining aerospace work environment.
  • Diploma in Precision Engrg and with at least 10 years hands‑on supervisory or managerial experience in the field of CNC fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience with CAD / CAM software such as NX Siemens and SolidWorks.
  • Provide expert guidance on CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhaim), tooling section, machining parameter, and process optimization plans for milling, grinding, turning and EDM
  • Proficiency in 3 - 5 axis Milling and Turning machining operation especially in adaptive machining with Inconel and Titanium materials
  • Ability to lead a diverse operations team in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong understanding of DG&T, engineering drawings, and fixture design
  • Experience with introduction of automation, digitization and best practices to enhance efficiency
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting machine equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
