The Role

In this role, you will drive the establishment and continuous improvement of governance standards across software development and product management functions. You will champion compliance, strengthen risk controls, and shape frameworks that safeguard the organisation’s technology ecosystem. Your work ensures alignment with regulatory expectations, internal policies, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks and compliance structures that support software engineering and product management functions.
  • Customise or create governance and standards frameworks by partnering with internal teams, ensuring that all processes align with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with governance committees, risk and compliance groups, and external regulatory entities to validate adherence to security, regulatory, and operational expectations.
  • Streamline and enhance internal processes to reduce risks, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen coordination across Product Management, Engineering, and external stakeholders.
  • Support organisation‑wide adoption of governance practices through clear documentation, guidance, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor compliance performance and support reporting activities to ensure timely and accurate submission of required documentation.
  • Promote a culture of risk awareness and good governance through continuous collaboration and communication with cross‑functional teams.
What Are We Looking For?

We’re seeking someone with strong governance expertise, a solid understanding of compliance frameworks, and the ability to drive structure and alignment across complex environments.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or IT security.
  • Strong working knowledge of IT governance frameworks, risk and compliance processes, and relevant regulatory obligations.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage governance activities and ensure compliance standards are consistently met.
  • Experience preparing and managing compliance reporting with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Highly detail‑oriented with a structured, process‑driven working style and strong risk awareness.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
