What will you do?

In this position you will join our Singapore Transport, Land & Water business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of building projects within a large portfolio of multidisciplinary markets.

• Undertake design and analysis of civil works including roads, alignment, drainage, sewerage, utilities, etc. for infrastructure and building projects, and be able to deliver solutions to complex problems.
• Carry out design calculations and produce sketch drawings, prepare tender documents, and develop client proposals and tenders in conjunction with Business Development. This includes bid planning, facilitation, costing, writing, technical inputs, and signoff as required.
• Write, consolidate, and review technical reports of infrastructure projects and studies.
• Prepare detailed design reports and presentation to clients.
• Lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup, act as a technical expert to mentor other engineers within the team, while supervising and coordinating to ensure quality and accuracy of designs.
• Possess initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise during design and construction stages.
• Assist in business development activities and be responsible for the maintenance of the client plan and positive client relationships.

• Recognized Civil Engineering qualification (Bachelor / Master’s degree), with minimum 10+ to 15 years of professional design experience in the field of civil works design including roads, alignment, drainage, sewerage, utilities, etc. Candidates with structural and / or geotechnical design experiences will be advantageous.
• Proven proficiency and experience in civil works design and analysis for infrastructure and building projects in Singapore and overseas.
• Energetic, proactive, and reliable team player with proven project coordination and management skills.
• Excellent communicator with well‑developed commercial, analytical, and technical skills, and ability to lead junior staff members.
