Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Landscape Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cost and contract-related aspects of landscape construction projects. This role involves both office-based work and regular site visits to monitor progress, verify measurements, and coordinate with the site team to ensure smooth project execution within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation for landscape works
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify measurements, and resolve issues
  • Manage site-related matters such as variation orders, material verification, and contractor coordination
  • Liaise closely with site supervisors, landscape architects, contractors, and clients
  • Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to specifications and budget
  • Evaluate contractor quotations and recommend award decisions
  • Perform cost control, value engineering, and risk assessment throughout the project
  • Prepare interim and final payment claims and certifications
  • Assist in procurement, cost planning, and final account preparation
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for project cost and site activity tracking
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, site safety, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Landscape Architecture, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape QS or external works (site-based experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of landscape construction processes and materials
  • Willingness to travel to and work at project sites regularly
  • Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD
