Are you looking to expand your career in financial technology support? We are seeking a motivated L1 Production Support Engineer to join our team in Singapore for a 3-month contract role. This position offers the opportunity to work with leading payment and card processing technologies in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor system alerts and batch jobs related to VisionPLUS 10 (Flex).
  • Perform daily system health checks across modules such as CMS, FAS, TRAMS, ITS, and more.
  • Conduct initial triage of incidents and service requests.
  • Provide quick workarounds and fixes for recurring issues.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain a knowledge base.
  • Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams when required.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams.
  • Support deployment activities, monthly releases, and patching.
  • Prepare incident reports and root cause analysis documentation.
  • Assist with user requests such as password resets, account unlocks, and basic configuration updates.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in L1 production support, ideally within banking or payment systems.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of VisionPLUS 10 (Flex) and its core modules.
  • Hands-on experience with JCL, COBOL, VSAM, and CICS.
  • Exposure to Micro Focus (Flex) environments – Linux basics, WinSCP, PuTTY, DMC, and job schedulers.
  • Familiarity with SQL/DB2 and log analysis (advantageous).
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
  • Understanding of ITIL practices (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
