Job summary

A prominent wealth management firm in Singapore seeks a Client Onboarding Officer to handle the AML/KYC risk assessment for clients. The successful candidate will review onboarding procedures, ensure compliance with internal policies, and build relationships with key stakeholders. Candidates should have a background in KYC Onboarding or AML, preferably within Private Banking, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in KYC Onboarding or AML, preferably in Private Banking.
• Good understanding of the Private Banking and Wealth Management industry.
• Strong knowledge of MAS 626 Notice & Guidelines.
• Experience in preparing reports and strong excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve onboarding of new client relationships.
• Assess AML/KYC risk for Standard and Medium Risk client applications.
• Build relationships with key internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Escalate higher risk client relationships to Compliance.
