Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire tender/RFQ process, from analyzing tender documents to solution design and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess feasibility and prepare quotations for tender submissions.
  • Oversee onboarding for new accounts after successful bids, ensuring smooth project handovers.
  • Manage project implementations, aligning with internal stakeholders, setting timelines, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with key accounts, focusing on long-term retention and growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, addressing client concerns and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with key accounts to maintain competitive pricing and profitability.
  • Engage customers on existing and new projects, driving collaboration and securing additional business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in key account management within the logistics, transport, or supply chain industry.
  • Expertise in managing tenders and RFQs, with strong contract negotiation skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex tender documents and design effective solutions.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
