Job summary

A leading financial advisory firm in Singapore seeks a Junior Analyst / Trader to conduct market research and assist in portfolio management. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Finance, is proficient in Excel, and has familiarity with financial statements. This entry-level position offers a competitive salary range of $3500 - $5500 and working hours from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Entry level candidates are welcome; 1–2 years’ experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MAS Designated Investments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and trading platforms.

Junior Analyst / Trader in Single Family Office

Location: Nearest mrt Caldecott

Working Day: 5 Days (Mon - Fri)

Working Hour: 9am - 6pm

Salary: $3500 - $5500

Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial and market research across asset classes (e.g. equities, fixed income, FX, alternatives)
  • Assist in portfolio construction, performance monitoring, and reporting
  • Execute trades under guidance of senior professionals or family principals
  • Prepare investment memos, risk analysis, and performance summaries
  • Maintain and update market models, dashboards, and investment tools
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends and provide insights to the investment team
  • Ensure compliance with internal investment guidelines and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Entry level is welcome. Candidates with 1–2 years’ experience are welcome.
  • Familiarity with financial statements, basic valuation methods, and trading platforms
  • Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Bloomberg, Python, or financial tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with MAS Designated Investments under Section 13O
