Job Responsibilities
- Provide daily support for systems software, networks, servers, and end-user devices via IT Helpdesk, remote assistance, and onsite support.
- Station at client sites or travel to multiple locations daily as required.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure for office and store locations, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and wireless systems.
- Administer and manage server infrastructure (on-premises and cloud), including AWS, DNS, Active Directory, DHCP, and domain controllers.
- Deploy and manage customer server hardware, virtual machines, storage appliances, routers, firewalls, switches, and other network equipment.
- Plan, lead, and execute system and network infrastructure deployment projects.
- Assist in developing infrastructure designs based on technical requirements and standard IT service offerings.
- Monitor system and network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime meets service level agreements (SLAs).
- Implement proactive improvements by analyzing past incidents and identifying weaknesses in the infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain network and system security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure access policies.
- Apply formal change management, incident management, and problem management processes.
- Maintain documentation, checklists, and regular reports for operational tasks.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience working in a Windows environment.
- Microsoft-related certifications or other relevant technical qualifications will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Independent, self-motivated, and capable of handling responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and perform under tight timelines.
