Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to ensure timely month-end closing and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will assist with financial statement preparation, accounting processes including accounts payable and receivable, and compliance with finance filing requirements. Candidates should possess a Diploma/Degree in Accounting and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in IFRS and MS Office is essential for success in this role.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
• Assist in the preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support head office and intercompany activities
• Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
• Assist to coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements (GST/WHT/CIT), audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal
• Assist in new processes, system implementation, regional work when required

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting / Business Finance
• 2 years of working experience in related field
• Experience in regional work is an added advantage
• Good working knowledge of IFRS
• Well-versed in MSOffice, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
