A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, M&E coordination, and supervising installations. Ideal applicants have a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 1-3 years of M&E experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD. Familiarity with BIM/Revit and Singaporean M&E codes is advantageous. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Prepare and update Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) shop drawings, coordination drawings, and Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for electrical scope.
Handle M&E coordination with main contractors, consultants, and other trades.
Perform quantity take-off (QTO) for M&E items and assist in materials planning and cost estimation.
Supervise and inspect M&E installation works on-site to ensure compliance with project requirements and local codes.
Support implementation of electrical systems (cabling, conduits, trunking, DB installation, earthing, LP system) and mechanical services (piping, pumps, ventilation, etc.).
Attend site meetings and resolve M&E technical issues.
Ensure all M&E works comply with SS standards, BCA, PUB, SP, and safety regulations.
Assist in testing & commissioning of M&E systems and preparing as-built documents. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or M&E related fields.
1–3 years of M&E experience in Singapore (fresh graduates may be considered).
Proficient in AutoCAD for M&E drafting and updating drawings.
Experience in BIM / Revit (M&E) is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Singapore M&E codes: SS 638, SP requirements, PUB guidelines, etc.
Able to work independently and coordinate well with site teams.
Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.
Experience in M&E projects (residential, commercial, industrial).
Familiar with method statements, RA, and T&C procedures.
Class 3 license preferred but not required.
