We are seeking a talented DevOps Platform Engineer to join our Client's dynamic Capital Markets IT Department!

As a DevOps Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing,implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and automation tools. You willwork closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operationof our applications. You will be a key contributor to our continuousimprovement efforts, ensuring our environments are always reliable, secure, andefficient.

Capital Markets IT involves technology solutions and systems used in financial markets for trading, investment, and related activities. This includes electronic tradingplatforms, risk management systems, market risk, counterparty risk, algorithmictrading, data analytics, and regulatory measures. The use of advancedtechnologies like API’s, artificial intelligence and cloud solutions are alsobecoming increasingly prevalent in capital markets to enhance efficiency anddecision-making processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Research,design, and develop computer software or specialised utility programs.
• Develop and maintainautomation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configurationmanagement, and deployment.
• Collaborate withdevelopment teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deploymentprocesses.
• Monitor and troubleshootinfrastructure and application performance issues.
• Implement security bestpractices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with thelatest DevOps technologies and trends.
• Contribute to thedevelopment and improvement of our DevOps culture and processes.

Qualifications and Profile

Technical

• Good knowledgein UNIX platform and database management systems suchas SQL, Oracle, Sybase and BigData.
• Experience with automation frameworks and libraries.
• Proficiencyin scripting languages such as Python, Shell script andPowerShell.
• Goodexposure to DevOps tools & technologies like Gitlab, Ansible, Jenkins,Maven, Elastic Search, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Control-M, KAFKA, Confluence,Jira, and MQ Series.
• Experiencewith Docker/Kurbernetes
• Experiencewith AWS Cloud platforms and services

Functional

• Experiencein supporting capital market applications and trading systems, ideallywithin the dynamic landscape of Market Risk/Front Office operations with acommendable grasp of financial products (Treasury, FX, Credit, IRD, Bonds,RSF etc.)

Nice to Have

• Experiencein supporting banking applications and trading systems
