Job description

You will support the finance team in ensuring accurate day-to-day accounting operations and timely month-end closing. This role involves close coordination with internal stakeholders to maintain proper financial records and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between departments to ensure accuracy of accounting entries and adherence to monthly closing timelines
• Handle daily financial transactions including verification, classification, posting, and checking of accounting entries
• Maintain proper records and ensure data accuracy in the accounting system

Accounts Receivable (Primary Scope)

• AR retail sales processing, collections, and reconciliation
• AR non-retail / non-trade collections and reconciliation
• Bank statement reconciliation and reporting
• Backend collection creation and refund processing
• Preparation and maintenance of AR schedules
• Sales submission and documentation

Additional Duties

• Preparation of GL journal entries
• FOREX rate updates
• Ad‑hoc tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting / ACCA
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in AR / AP / GL accounting
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel (mandatory)
