Job summary

A leading technology solutions firm in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant / Financial Analyst to support finance operations. The ideal candidate will manage full-set accounting and handle IRAS submissions, including GST filings. A diploma in finance or accounting is required, along with 1–3 years of relevant experience. Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant / Financial Analyst to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate must be familiar with Singapore accounting standards, IRAS requirements, GST filings, and general financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities – Singapore (Main Scope)
  • Handle full-set accounting according to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
  • Prepare monthly closing activities: journals, reconciliations, schedules, and variance analysis.
  • Manage IRAS-related submissions, including:
    • GST (F5 submissions, adjustments, reconciliations)
    • Corporate tax preparation support
    • Addressing IRAS queries when required
  • Support finance documentation, cost reporting, and related statutory requirements.
  • Prepare management reports, budgeting support, and cash-flow tracking.
  • Coordinate with auditors during annual audit and maintain proper documentation.
  • Oversee AR/AP functions, vendor payments, claims, and expense processing.

Extended Responsibilities: In addition to Singapore responsibilities, the role will extend support to Ireland and the USA, working closely with local finance teams and external accounting partners to ensure consolidation and compliance across all regions.

Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore accounting and IRAS requirements, especially GST.
  • Exposure to multi-region or multi-entity accounting is a bonus but not mandatory.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle tight timelines.
