Job Description

What will you do?

As a Tech Lead, you will have to –

• Lead technical delivery for complex projects
• Get your hands dirty by debugging the issue with the team
• Coach junior developments on good software engineering practices
• Understand the business requirements and translate them into the technical requirement
• Work with upstream and downstream applications, infra and cyber team for integrations issues, design issues and troubleshooting of technical issues
• Manage internal and client stakeholder
• Assign work to team, track their work and able to complete your own work along
• Implementbest-in-class engineering practicesusingNCS standards.
• Collaborate with architects onsolution design and technical governance.
• Ensure best practices, frameworks and re-useable components are employed in the project.
• DriveDevSecOpsadoptionand ensure application security compliance.
• Develop and review thelow leveldesign for the modules/services

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Due to government project sensitivity, we will only consider Singapore Citizen
• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• A can-do attitude and ability to work in grey areas.
• More than 6 years of hands-on experience in development and deployment of Java technologies
• Backend development using Spring Boot framework
• Frontend development using React JS, Angular, Typescript
• Relational Databases like Postgres, Oracle Database and MS SQL
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in migrating a monolith to microservices architecture
• Experience in CI/CD
• Good understanding of Windows and Linux
• Hands-on experience in basic monitoring using tools like Splunk, Elastic, AppDynamics etc.
• Strong hands-onexpertisein the primary tech stack (languages-Java, .NET, or Python, frameworks, CI/CD, cloud, security basics) toretaintechnical credibility and make informed decisions
• Moduledesign skills: designing services, APIs, data models, and non-functional qualities (scalability, performance, reliability)at module or subsystem level.
• Solid experience as aSenior Developer or Tech Leadin enterprise projects.
• Strong coding and design skills inJava.
• Familiarity withcloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and security practices.
• Passion for learning architecture principles and solutioning.
• Exposure to AI assisted coding tools such as Github Copilot, Cursor and Claude Code
