Your role and responsibilities

The ServiceNow ITMP Programme Manager acts as the strategic leader responsible for planning, governing, and delivering complex IT Management Platform enabled by ServiceNow. You will oversee cross‑functional teams, guide clients through large‑scale transformation, manage programme governance, ensure platform adoption, and drive value realisation across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, SecOps, and other ServiceNow workflows.

This role requires deep programme leadership experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business strategy into executable roadmaps within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex ServiceNow‑enabled IT Management Platform (ITMP), ensuring alignment with client strategy, scope, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain robust programme governance, including steering committees, RAID management, progress reporting, and financial control.
  • Oversee multi‑tower ServiceNow initiatives across ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CMDB, HAM/SAM, SPM, SecOps, and other relevant workflows.
  • Ensure successful adoption, change management, and transition to operational run teams.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of leadership and escalation for client executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions to define transformation roadmaps and maturity journeys.
  • Build trusted relationships with client technology and business leaders to ensure programme success.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams comprising architects, developers, business analysts, process consultants, and partners.
  • Mentor, coach, and support the professional development of team members.
  • Drive collaboration between IBM Consulting, ServiceNow, and client delivery teams.

Strategic Planning & Value Realisation

  • Develop programme business cases, target operating models, and adoption strategies.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with ITIL, industry best practices, and IBM methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the platform footprint and deliver incremental value.

Risk, Compliance & Quality Management

  • Manage programme risks, dependencies, and issues with proactive mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments, security requirements, and IBM/industry standards.
  • Guarantee delivery excellence through formal quality assurance practices.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Proven experience leading large, multi‑workstream ServiceNow or IT Management Platform
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, platform architecture, and implementation methodologies.
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS in ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CMDB, etc.)
  • PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or equivalent programme management certifications highly preferred
  • Experience in Consulting environments, ideally within large‑scale consulting firms.
  • Background in cloud, automation, DevOps, or IT operating model transformation.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage C‑suite stakeholders and complex client environments.
  • Experience in ITIL‑aligned operations, IT service management, IT operations, or enterprise architecture.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial and commercial management capabilities, including contract, budget, and resource oversight.
