A leading logistics company in Singapore seeks an IT support specialist to assist in daily IT operations, manage in-house systems, and provide training to users. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and a relevant diploma or degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Products and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.
Primary Role
Support in-house systems and basic database management;
Assist IT Manager in day-to-day IT operations;
Provide software and hardware implementation and usage support for IT product and services;
Provide users/customers training on equipment usage;
System Process improvement and implementation;
Support management of IT inventory;
Evaluate IT products and assist in IT procurement where required;
Ensure IT Security and audit protocols are always in place;
Work closely with IT teams worldwide in implementing global and regional initiatives, solving production issues and administrative matters.
Skill and Experience
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in IT or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Telecommunication / Electronic or equivalent;
At least 3 years of work experience;
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Products is essential;
Working experience in in-house systems support and basic database management in logistics industry is preferred;
Experience in system implementation, project management, electronic engineering;
Proactive team player with problem solving skills;
Enjoys interaction with end users and is not afraid of challenges;
Exposure to internal and external IT audit and SOX compliance will be an added advantage.
