Job summary

A leading cybersecurity firm in Singapore is seeking IT Security Officers to enhance security across various environments. The role involves handling vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and supporting audit and compliance efforts. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in IT or related fields, relevant certifications, and at least 2 years of experience in cloud cybersecurity. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work closely with cybersecurity teams and managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Cloud Cybersecurity experience, preferably with GCC exposure.
• At least one recognized certification (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct system security hardening & compliance reviews based on CIS Benchmarks.
• Monitor vulnerabilities in cloud & on-prem environments, ensuring remediation actions.
• Respond to security alerts and handle phishing/malware incidents.
• Support audit processes and prepare evidence for compliance.
• Collaborate with cloud security engineers on CSPM findings.
• Create and maintain SOPs and system hardening baselines.
• Provide monthly reports on remediation status to Cybersecurity leadership.
• Assist in awareness training and governance activities.

Job description

Contract duration: 1 year
We are partnering with a major Singapore Government organization to hire IT Security Officers (ITSOs) to strengthen security posture across on-prem and cloud environments. You will act as a subject matter expert supporting System Managers and Cybersecurity Team in security operations, compliance, audit activities, and vulnerability/alert management.

This is a hands‑on cyber role with visibility across multiple hosting environments including On-Prem, GDC, GCC and GCC+.

What You Will Do

• System security hardening & compliance reviews (CISBenchmarks)
• Cloud & on‑prem vulnerability monitoring and remediation follow‑ups
• Responding to alerts, phishing and malware events
• Audit support & evidence preparation (internal & external)
• Work with cloud security engineers on CSPM findings (Cloudscape, Security Hub etc.)
• Create & maintain SOPs and system hardening baselines
• Monthly reporting to Cybersecurity leadership on remediation status
• Support awareness training & governance activities

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Cybersecurity
CISSP / CISM / CRISC / CISA (min. 1 recognized cert)
Min 2 years Cloud Cybersecurity experience (GCC exposure preferred)
