Job Purpose

Our client has ambitious plans to scale operations across multiple regions and is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and results-driven IT Process Engineer to lead technology initiatives within a manufacturing and distribution environment. This role will be pivotal in shaping IT strategy, optimizing business processes, and building an integrated data architecture that supports informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ERP systems, data architecture, application development, and IoT technologies to drive efficiency and innovation across the organization.

ERP Systems Management

• Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of ERP systems to support core business operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ERP solutions align with business needs and processes. Continuously assess and improve ERP performance, scalability, and usage.

Data Architecture and Decision Making

• Design, develop, and implement a robust data architecture that integrates data from multiple sources, including ERP systems, IoT devices, and other applications.
• Establish governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, security, and consistency across the organization.
• Develop tools and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and other critical business metrics.

Application Development and Management

• Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of business applications tailored to operational needs.
• Ensure that applications are integrated seamlessly with existing systems to enhance productivity and user experience.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and reduce manual processes.

IoT Integration and Process Optimization

• Drive the adoption of IoT technologies to improve manufacturing processes, monitor equipment, and enhance supply chain visibility.
• Implement IoT solutions to capture real-time data for operational efficiency and predictive maintenance.
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify and execute process optimization initiatives.

IT Strategy

• Develop and execute an IT strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives innovation.
• Collaborate with the Group IT team, ensuring the development of skills and capabilities required for the evolving needs of the business.
• Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

Cyber Security Governance

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to IT systems and data security.
• Implement cybersecurity policies in Singapore to mitigate risks and safeguard critical business information.
• Monitor emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

Key Skills and Personal Attributes

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master’s in a relevant field is preferred.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Proven experience managing ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and optimising their usage.
• Strong track record in designing and implementing data architectures and driving data-centric projects.
• Experience with IoT technologies and their application in manufacturing and logistics.
