Overview

A top-tier trading firm is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to join its expanding global team. In this role, you'll support, configure and maintain multiple systems across all technology stacks, including desktop environments, network infrastructure and various application platforms.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tech support requests (L1/L2/L3).
• Build and configure Windows, Linux and macOS laptops, desktops and servers.
• Support Windows domain infrastructure.
• Monitor critical systems and optimise ways of working.
• Contribute to automation initiatives using PowerShell to create scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM.
• Strong grounding in information technology and networking principles, with hands-on experience in L1/L2/L3 support, system administration, programming, or network engineering.
• Experience managing Windows Desktop and Server environments in production settings, with solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other core Windows administration tools.
• Familiarity with Linux or macOS platforms is advantageous.
• Strong experience in scripting or programming using PowerShell (Windows) or Bash (Linux).
