Role Purpose
The IT Engineer will provide comprehensive IT support and infrastructure management across multiple countries in Asia Pacific. This role ensures smooth operations of IT systems, security compliance, and proactive monitoring, while delivering excellent service to end-users and supporting global standards.
Key Responsibilities
End-User Support & Setup
- Handle new setup requests, laptop configuration, and onboarding of new joiners within 2 business days.
- Provide on-site and remote support for PCs, servers, and network devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues independently or with vendors.
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
- Administer Active Directory (AD), network accounts, and application deployments.
- Manage servers, backups, and business IT environment.
- Support PBX/VoIP systems and mobile devices.
- Maintain lifecycle management for hardware and software assets.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of data through proper security measures.
- Implement and monitor antivirus, firewall, VPN tools, and patch management.
- Conduct monthly security validations (patch levels, antivirus compliance).
- Support audits and adherence to Spirax Group security standards.
Proactive Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor server health, disk space, CPU/memory usage, UPS events, and network availability.
- Perform regular backups and recovery testing.
- Prepare monthly service review reports covering incidents, uptime, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Vendor & Procurement Management
- Coordinate with external service vendors for escalations and maintenance.
- Advise on PC hardware selection and procurement aligned with Group standards.
- Manage maintenance contracts and asset registers.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in monthly service reviews and quarterly planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT operations, reduce complexity, and optimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with Spirax standards and policies.

- Level 2: Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Japan
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience:
- 5-8 years in IT support or infrastructure roles.
- Hands‑on experience with Windows Server, AD and networking.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, virtualization, and endpoint security.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work independently and across multiple countries.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- ITIL Foundation
