We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce administration and experience with the Marketing Cloud platform. Experience with the Sales, Service, and Community Clouds will be an advantage.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Salesforce environment, with a focus on the Marketing Cloud platform. You will work closely with our marketing, sales, and customer service teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that can help improve their ability to manage and execute marketing campaigns, sales processes, and customer interactions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining our Salesforce environment, with a focus on the Marketing Cloud platform, as well as the Sales, Service, and Community Clouds
- Collaborating with our marketing, sales, and customer service teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that can help improve their ability to manage and execute marketing campaigns, sales processes, and customer interactions
- Configuring and implementing new features and functionality in the Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud platforms
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the Salesforce environment, and providing support to users as needed
- Maintaining a strong understanding of industry trends and developments in the field of Salesforce and its various clouds.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities to drive business value, translate these into Business requirements
- Design domain‑specific, multi‑cloud solutions on the Salesforce Platform that power personalized, frictionless customer experiences and maximize business value.
- Develop secure, scalable, and high‑performance solutions that maximize the full potential of the Salesforce Platform.
- Provide analysis and recommendations on optimization of Salesforce IT solutions focusing on Marketing Automation.
- Contribute to projects as a specialist for Salesforce Marketing Cloud complimenting Sales, Services, and Community Clouds.
- Administration and configuration of Salesforce environment, with a focus on the Marketing Cloud.
- Design solutions that maximum usability whilst minimizing code and customization
- Conduct process related end‑to‑end tests ensuring requirements are met
- Responsible for the acceptance of new system developments from our implementation partner.
- Conduct end‑user training for the new services and features launched through the Salesforce platform
- Lead software vendors and external consultants ensuring the quality of deliverables
- Handle support requests, error analysis and correction as part of tiered level support and change request management with adherence to SLA.
- Ensure IT system controls and standards are always adhered to, across all teams
- Provide input to the technology architecture in the analysis of the as‑is salesforce landscape for the Salesforce domain, to define a global tech strategy
- Collaborate with other team members to help solve technical/engineering problems at an operational level.
Qualifications and Other Requirements
- Candidate should possess a Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5 years of professional experience in IT projects with a focus on Marketing technologies
- Experience in integration of cloud‑based enterprise applications focusing on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience in application integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) is an advantage.
- Experience in Agile methodologies is an advantage
- Proven track record of designing successful system landscapes
- Solid understanding of native Salesforce features and functionalities
- Solution‑oriented and pragmatic mindset paired with strong communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, methodical approach
- Very good conceptual and analytical skills and a high motivation to define sophisticated process solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional and collaborative team environment
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification
- Experience from at least one full Salesforce.com life cycle implementation
- Experience with the Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud platforms
- Other Salesforce certification is a plus
