Job Scope

The Assistant Manager / Manager will be responsible for end-to-end IT governance, cybersecurity, and operational excellence across ASEAN subsidiaries. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and compliant IT environments while driving automation and digital transformation initiatives. The role requires a strong technical foundation combined with the ability to manage regional rollouts and vendor relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure & Network Management
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP,GPO).
  • Manage network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of core IT services across multiple sites.
2. Identity & Endpoint Security
  • Implement and enforce identity and access controls using modern enterprise tools.
  • Manage device compliance, patching, and security baselines for endpoints.
  • Deploy and optimize endpoint protection and vulnerability management solutions.
3. Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services
  • Configure and secure Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams.
  • Govern collaboration and data protection policies across regional entities.
  • Drive adoption of productivity and security features within the Microsoft ecosystem.
4. Cybersecurity & Risk Management
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents using advanced threat protection tools.
  • Maintain IT risk registers and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal control standards.
5. Automation & Digital Transformation
  • Design and implement automation workflows using Power Automate and scripting.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools for operational and security metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
6. Governance & Audit Readiness
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for internal controls and audits.
  • Coordinate evidence collection and testing for IT governance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regional regulatory obligations.
7. Regional Rollouts & Vendor Management
  • Lead IT deployments and standardization across ASEAN subsidiaries.
  • Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and managed services.
  • Monitor license compliance and renewal schedules for enterprise solutions.
8. Team Mentoring & Development
  • Provide guidance and technical mentorship to junior IT staff.
  • Share best practices and promote continuous learning within the team.
  • Support skill development aligned with evolving technologies and compliance needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in IT operations, cybersecurity, and governance, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO).
  • Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc) and security controls.
  • Identity and endpoint management (Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Autopilot, etc).
  • Network and firewall technologies (FortiGate, VLAN, VPN).
  • Endpoint protection and vulnerability management (Defender for Endpoint).
  • Practical experience with automation tools (Power Automate, PowerShell scripting) and reporting (Power BI).
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Knowledge of IT governance and compliance principles aligned with applicable regulatory requirements and internal control standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in multi‑country IT rollouts and regional standardization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders from diverse cultural and country backgrounds across APAC.
  • Ability to travel within Asia Pacific as required for regional projects and subsidiary support.
