Overview
Role Mission: The IT & HR Assistant will provide essential support to the company, playing a key role in ensuring smooth operations. This position combines IT support and administrative duties, ensuring that the company’s office systems, IT infrastructure, and administrative functions run efficiently.
IT Support Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues ensuring quick resolution to minimize disruptions.
- Assist with the setup, installation, and configuration of computer systems, printers, phones, and other office equipment (i.e.: CCTV).
- Support the maintenance of IT systems, including performing routine updates, backups, and security scans to ensure the systems are secure and functioning correctly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for employees, such as email setup, system errors, and connectivity problems.
- Assist in managing and tracking IT assets, including computers, software licenses, and other technology resources.
- Support user account management, including user creation, password resets, and access permissions for internal systems.
- Assist with system upgrades, software installations, and IT projects, ensuring proper execution and minimal disruption.
- Maintain documentation for IT systems, troubleshooting guides, and inventory management.
HR Support Responsibilities
- Manage office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels of stationery, pantry items, and other office necessities.
- Coordinate office logistics, such as maintaining equipment inventories, managing office equipment repairs, and handling general administrative inquiries.
- Assist in organizing company events, including team-building activities, staff meetings, and training sessions.
- Assist with general HR duties, such as data entry, filing, document scanning, and report preparation.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
