JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: In Process Quality Assurance

Report to: Analysis Section

Functional Relationships with: All departments in Murata (TUAS) Singapore

POSITION PROFILE

Based in: Singapore

Job site: Tuas

The successful candidate will perform failure analysis on cells (Disassemble) using various tools to identify failure mechanism. You will compile report and inform relevant processes through email. You will also assist Quality engineer in managing the non-conformance cell lots to assure outgoing quality, CAPA processing and Quality / Reliability Improvement.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) Failure Analysis

• Perform failure analysis on product to identify root cause of failure.
• Generate technical report of failure analysis finding and email to relevant process.
• Maintain and oversee calibration of analysis tools & equipment.
• Responsible for daily tracking and updating for Failure Analysis cases for further review.
• Maintain SS & Safety compliances in Analysis room.

(B) Non‑Conformance Report (NCR)

• Assist Quality engineer in managing the non-conformance product handling.
• Provide analytical service in support of non-conformance product processing.

(C) Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA)

• Assist Quality engineer in managing the CAPA (Correction Action & Preventive Action) processing.

(D) Product Quality/ Reliability Improvement

• Assist Quality engineer in quality improvement activities.

ABILITY / COMPETENCY REQUIRED

• Diploma in Mechatronic & Robotics/Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• Failure Analysis skill will be added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal & analytical skills.
• Self‑motivated, independent, able to contribute as a team player.
• Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft office, Excel, Words & Power point).
• Comfortable to work in clean room environment+ dry room (0% humidity).
• Proficient in English (written & spoken).
