Responsibilities

Job description

We are assisting our Investment Advisory Partner firm to look for an Investment Analyst to join their Asia‑Pacific team. This role is primarily middle‑office focused, providing analytical, operational, and reporting support to the investment team across multiple asset classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting or corporate finance, with a keen interest in alternative investments.

This role offers strong exposure to the investment lifecycle, fund operations and cross‑border investment activities within a global family office environment.

Key Responsibilities
Investment & Financial Analysis
  • Support investment teams in financial analysis, valuation modelling, and financial due diligence
  • Assist in reviewing financial statements, management accounts, and investment memoranda
  • Prepare internal reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for management
Middle Office & Operations Support
  • Support deal execution processes, including documentation tracking and transaction coordination
  • Assist with fund operations, capital deployment tracking, and portfolio monitoring
  • Liaise with internal teams and external service providers (e.g. auditors, fund administrators)
Portfolio & Reporting
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and prepare periodic reporting materials
  • Maintain investment databases, deal trackers, and portfolio records
  • Support compliance, governance, and internal control processes where required
Research & Market Support
  • Conduct sector, market, and company‑level research as required
  • Support ad‑hoc analysis related to venture capital, private equity, and real estate investments
Requirements
Educational Background
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields
  • Open to Year 1 to Year 3/4 students or fresh graduates
Experience
  • Prior internship or exposure to finance, accounting, investment, or audit roles is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong financial and accounting fundamentals
  • Comfortable working with financial statements and Excel‑based analysis
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment
  • Professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential information
Preferred Attributes

  • Familiarity with Asia‑Pacific markets, particularly Korea or Southeast Asia, is a plus
