Job summary

A logistics company based in Singapore is seeking an experienced operations specialist. You will be responsible for processing orders, organizing custom documentation, and scheduling weekly pickups for delivery. The ideal candidate has 2 to 3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry and strong knowledge of customs regulations. The role requires excellent organizational skills to ensure timely operations and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of working experience in DC and/or Freight Forwarding, Intermodal Industry.

Responsibilities

• Process orders in the system according to SOP.
• Troubleshoot operational issues to ensure timely haulage.
• Maintain master data for haulage in the system.

Duties

• Process the order in the system as per SOP
• Trouble shoot operational issues to ensure the haulage arrangement is on time.
• Update and maintain the master data for haulage in the system to ensure that it supports the order processing.
• Follow up and ensure all the custom documentation is organized in accordance to the respecting export/ import requirements of the country.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of documentation in accordance to internal and external audit requirement.
• To plan and organize weekly pick up schedule to factories and arrange delivery order to trucker for the markets, mainly MYS – SG
• Monitor trucker performance to ensure the factory pickup schedule and delivery to port is executed according to agreed timeline.
• Arrange consolidation of CFS orders to bonded warehouse.
• Ensure zero penalties from Custom Authority, carriers or 3PL due to internal issue.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of working experience, preferably in the DC and/or Freight Forwarding, Intermodal Industry.
• Knowledge on Custom regulations
