Our client, a leading international private bank, is seeking an Insurance Specialist to join its Wealth Planning team. This role focuses on supporting and expanding the life insurance business in Asia by partnering with Relationship Managers and external brokers to deliver high-net-worth insurance solutions.
Partner with Relationship Managers to identify opportunities, provide insurance expertise, and coordinate client meetings with approved brokers.
Support clients and brokers throughout the insurance process, including case administration, credit coordination, and periodic portfolio reviews.
Manage relationships with external brokers and insurers, maintain product lists, and oversee the approval and periodic review of insurance products and commission structures.
Conduct and organize training sessions and client events to enhance insurance product knowledge and promote integrated wealth and succession planning solutions.
Monitor and report on insurance activities, including pipeline tracking, monthly/quarterly sales reports, and regulatory updates, ensuring all activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Bachelors degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field; CMFAS Modules 5, 9, and 9A are an advantage.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in life insurance advisory within a bank, insurance brokerage, or insurance company.
In-depth knowledge of life insurance solutions for high-net-worth clients (e.g., universal life, premium-financing structures).
Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a small, collaborative team environment. Solid understanding of risk, compliance, and banking regulations.
