About the Course

Vertical Institute’s Data Analytics Course equips learners with the core tools and techniques used in data analysis today. The course focuses on:

• Excel for data manipulation
• SQL for querying relational databases
• Tableau for data visualization

Participants will learn how to clean, analyze, and visualize data to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.

All classes are conducted live via Zoom, typically on weekday evenings or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and beginner-friendly online lessons on Excel data analysis functions
• Deliver interactive and beginner-friendly online lessons on SQL queries for data extraction
• Deliver interactive and beginner-friendly online lessons on Tableau dashboards and visual storytelling
• Guide learners through real-world projects and datasets
• Explain technical concepts in a clear, engaging manner
• Provide mentorship, feedback, and hands-on support during sessions
• Continuously improve lesson delivery based on student feedback

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Finance industry, with a strong focus on data analytics
• Proficient in:
  • Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning)
  • SQL (data querying and transformation)
  • Tableau (dashboard design and data visualization best practices)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to beginners
• Confident with Zoom facilitation, and equipped with a reliable remote teaching setup (camera, mic, stable internet)
• Prior experience in teaching or training is a plus
