Job description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Installation: Install electrical wiring, lighting systems, and fixtures in buildings.
2. Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems.
3. Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in electrical wiring and equipment.
4. Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and building codes.
5. Blueprint reading: Interpret technical diagrams and blueprints to execute electrical plans.
6. Upgrading systems: Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and capacity.
7. Emergency response: Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and troubleshoot issues.
8. Attend customer sites to diagnose, repair, or maintain electrical systems as part of ongoing service contracts or ad-hoc requests.
9. Interpret technical drawings, plans, and schematics to carry out electrical work according to project specifications.
10. Liaise with customers on-site to ensure clear understanding of work scope, updates, and post-service instructions.
11. Assist in planning and coordinating project tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards.
12. Prepare accurate job reports, service documentation, and project completion documents.
13. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues on-site.
14. Perform other job responsibilities as and when assigned.
